Der Standard - Mozartkugeltest

In some ways, this test didn’t reveal anything new: the result was that Salzburg’s Konditorei Fürst Original Mozartkugel is second to none in taste tests. Fürst sets the standard for other Mozartkugel, and once you’ve tasted it, you’ll finally know why the Mozartkugel has become as popular as it is.
Using the original recipe and still made by hand, this treat is characterised by a very thin, creamy coating of dark chocolate, under which lies a layer of light, chocolatey nougat that envelops a pistachio core. Everything is of the highest quality: the chocolate tastes purely of cocoa, and it treats the mouth to a velvety feel, allowing the flavours of nougat and marzipan to passionately unite. The bittersweet perfectly balances the sweet. With just one bite you are transported to a more beautiful world.
“This is the life!” exclaimed one of the testers. In short, it doesn’t get any better than this.
